A healthy environment starts at home
We seek to improve people’s lives by promoting the replacement of chemical/synthetic cleaning products with natural, healthy cleaning products.

Allergy and asthma rates are exploding worldwide. Today, one in five Americans, about 60 million people, have allergies or asthma, with allergy rates in U.S. children tripling from the 1960s through the 1990s. Asthma rates in U.S. children doubled from 1980 to 1995. By 2025, it is expected that worldwide the number of people with asthma will increase by 33%.³

The cause of such exploding allergy and asthma rates? Our belief – Environmental Triggers, and particularly environmental triggers in the home.

Ingredients in consumer products have been linked to various issues – carcinogens, reproductive toxins, hormone disrupters…⁴ On average, 17 VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are emitted from commonly used fragranced U.S. household consumer products. About 20% of these VOCs are classified as toxic or hazardous under U.S. federal laws.⁵

We believe that early exposure to complex mixes of chemicals leads to allergies – these allergies can then last for life. Pregnant women and infants are especially vulnerable.

By replacing today’s common household chemical cleaning products with natural products, we believe we can help reduce the rates of allergies and asthma and decrease chemical contamination of our environment.
