Pipper Standard® Lacto-Fermentation Process: A Sustainable Cleantech Innovation

We employ a proprietary Lacto-Fermentation Process to transform locally sourced pineapples into effective, natural cleaning agents, known as “Pineapple Power.” The process is supported by rigorous quality control and a zero-waste approach.

The supply chain begins with the procurement of fresh pineapples directly from local Thai farmers, supporting the community while maintaining raw material integrity. After a thorough cleaning procedure, the whole fruits are finely chopped and blended with water, sugar, and a specific strain of Lactobacillus.

This mixture is then transferred to a controlled environment where the fermentation process is carefully regulated. The resulting fermented composition contains bromelain with residual enzymatic activity derived from the pineapple raw materials. This fruit-based agent serves as the foundational ingredient — the “Pineapple Power” — used across the Pipper Standard® product range.

To ensure safety and performance, the fluid undergoes a dual-phase quality control protocol. The initial filtration phase tests for pH balance, sugar concentration, cleanliness, and active ingredient levels. This is followed by a secondary inspection, after which a formal Certificate of Analysis (COA) is issued.

Once certified, the purified extract is transported in bulk tanks to our manufacturing facility, where it serves as the core active ingredient in Pipper Standard® products. In keeping with our environmental standards, residual pineapple pulp is upcycled into dried animal feed, and wastewater is treated and repurposed for on-site landscape irrigation.

Gentle Preservatives: We replace synthetic preservatives such as MI, MIT, and parabens with gentle alternatives, reducing the risk of allergic reactions.
U.S. FDA allergen standards: Where fragrance is required, we use only natural essential oils and/or allergen-free fragrance, formulated with sensitive skin in mind and non-irritation certified.
No Harsh Additives: No dyes. No optical brighteners. Nothing added that does not serve a functional purpose.
No Petrochemical-based Surfactants: Our primary surfactant is derived from pineapple fermentation rather than petrochemical-based surfactants.
