PiPPER STANDARD A Healthy Environment Starts at School
December 1st, 2015, Thailand - PiPPER STANDARD® traveled to the Bamboo School in Buriram Province to provide the school children with PiPPER STANDARD® laundry products and to educate them on health and safety. Equator Pure Nature Founder and CEO Mr. Peter Wainman and Managing Director Ms. Sirilak Narontanupone met with well-known Thai humanitarian Mr. Mechai Viravaidya, founder of the Bamboo School, to gift the school bottles of PiPPER STANDARD® laundry detergent and fabric softener with the vision of creating a healthy environment for the students. Mr. Wainman spoke to the children about his experience with allergies and explained why he created PiPPER STANDARD®, while Ms. Sirilak shared her knowledge about the dangers of chemicals in cleaning supplies and how to live a healthier life.
The students performed workshops practicing washing clothes with PiPPER STANDARD® and reusing after-wash water to help grow plants and trees. The students also presented ideas on how PiPPER STANDARD® bottles could be reused to create a more sustainable environment. The event was a rousing success and the students took joy in learning about health and safety.
