Wins Eco Award 2016 in Hong Kong

   January 11th, 2016, Hong Kong - Announced at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), PiPPER STANDARD® natural laundry detergent won the Eco Award from the Hong Kong Toys & Baby Products Awards 2016. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), representatives from brands around the world joined and competed for awards covering different product categories. The judging was based on innovation, functionality, safety, marketability, and environmental friendliness.
     The Eco Award was given to the product deemed “most eco-friendly in terms of the overall concept, use of materials, and production process.” PiPPER STANDARD® was awarded this honor for their outstanding product covering environmental-friendliness.
     PiPPER STANDARD® products are certified to biodegrade more than 90% in one month and are sold in bottles produced from HDPE recyclable material. Their sustainable and zero-waste production process is also eco-friendly from start to finish.
 
     Holding a pineapple in his hand, Mr. Peter N. Wainman, Chairman and CEO of the Thai natural consumer goods company Equator Pure Nature Co., Ltd (EPN), shared information about PiPPER STANDARD® products with the HKCEC audience, which included potential business partners from around the world. “Our proprietary pineapple fermentation process is our key differentiator. Our patent-pending process yields natural enzymes, organic acids and biosurfactants that allow us to avoid using harsh chemicals. We intend to improve people’s lives by providing natural products that clean as well as, or better than chemical products, while remaining healthy and safe for the whole family,” said Mr. Wainman.
