Mr. Alexander L. Nikolaev is a professional private equity and real estate investor with an extensive global career. As one of the first lead investors in Equator Pure Nature (EPN), Alexander has been a foundational supporter of the business since its inception and currently serves as a member of the Board of Advisors.
Alexander’s executive leadership in investment management dates back to the late 1990s, when he took part in major public capital transactions including early public listings on the NYSE. His executive leadership includes serving as Managing Director for Valartis Group SA (Moscow and Geneva) and Smith Management LLC (Moscow and New York).
Alexander has a proven track record of managing large-scale assets, having been directly responsible for the creation and management of Swiss Exchange-listed European Property Holdings Ltd (with assets over $1 billion) and successfully leading the financial turnaround of the INTECO group. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Board and Co-founder of MR-ORION.3, overseeing a 1.1 million sqm portfolio of prime real estate development projects, and is a partner of Proxima Capital Group.
Grounded in a strong legal and diplomatic education — holding an L.L.M. from the Moscow State Institute for Foreign Affairs — he brings decades of expertise in international capital markets and asset management.
