Ms. Sirilak Narongtanupone
Managing Director and Co-founder
Sirilak Narongtanupone is the Managing Director and co-founder of Equator Pure Nature Co., Ltd. (EPN), alongside Peter Wainman. She is a pioneering entrepreneur, inventor, and business leader who has played a central role in building EPN into a leading Asian cleantech company and the creator of the award-winning Pipper Standard® brand.
Together with Wainman, Narongtanupone co-developed Pipper Standard®, a globally recognized line of natural, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly home, laundry, baby, personal, and pet care products powered by patented pineapple fermentation technology. She has been instrumental in the invention and global protection of over 60 patents across key markets, including the United States, Europe, China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and others — covering approximately 70% of global GDP.
A passionate advocate for sustainable innovation and healthier living, Narongtanupone has helped lead the mission of replacing harsh chemical products with safe, plant-based alternatives that deliver comparable or superior performance. She previously co-developed Equator Solar Co., Ltd. and built a distinguished career in finance, holding senior roles including Vice President at ING Bank N.V. (Thailand), Vice President at SCB Securities, and Assistant Vice President at Credit Agricole Indosuez Bank (Thailand).
Her leadership and contributions have earned numerous recognitions for innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, including being named a Top Female Entrepreneur Influencing Sustainability Trends in Asia (2022).
Narongtanupone holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from Chulalongkorn University.
